Amazon is really providing a master class in why monopolies are so dangerous.  With its ruthless grip over book sales, Amazon has now moved on to overt censorship." controversies have attracted criticism from multiple sources, where the ethics of certain business practices and policies have been drawn into question. Through Becky’s Eyes by H.E. Kline is a steamy and well-detailed romp through the halls of justice as seen through a series of episodes in the life of Rebecca Lawrence, an assistant US District Attorney. Like most who choose a career in the legal industry, Becky’s life is a seat-of-the-pants fly-through in which most have just about enough time for a ‘Coke and a smile’ in between cases, let alone keeping their personal lives together. The author successfully provides us with that slipstream feeling as we follow Becky from interpersonal dialogues to wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am sexploits to cutthroat courtroom battles. Whether patching the holes in her life with her ally Amanda Jenkins, or kicking up to boy toy Zachary Woods, or duking it out with legal eagles Mark Gould or Timmy O’Brien, Becky is hitting on all cylinders and Kline keeps us soaring right behind her.The author cleverly intertwines the human element throughout the narrative as Becky finds herself in lawsuits where senior citizens are being swindled for their life savings and only Becky can save them. The testimonies are authentic in quality and the legal wrangling proves intriguing as opponents Gould and O’Brien provide daunting arguments for their clients in separate cases. Yet Becky has the might of right on her side, and her tenacity brings her through the most trying situations. Only a love triangle between her, Zach and Timmy threatens to rock her world apart, and she eventually faces a bigger trial than any courtroom has yet to provide. For courtroom enthusiasts and yuppie drama lovers, Through Becky’s Eyes by H.E. Kline is one you won’t want to miss. Rated ‘R’ for sexual content.

I read a lot of books, but this one is by far the best one I have read all year! This book is incredibly hot and sexy but it also has a great and involved story line that is perfectly written so that the reader feels like you are right there experiencing everything with the main character, Becky. Everything about this book is perfect, the writing is excellent, the characters have true dimension, the story is in depth but perfectly orchestrated. I truly can't say enough good things about this book. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Through Becky's Eyes, was not at all what I expected! Becky was just promoted to AUSA, serving under the handsome Zach. As they begin working with each other, they slowly start flirting and the attraction grows. They start to get romantic, and Becky stops it, but eventually they can't fight their feelings any longer. But he is married with kids. Not only is this office affair going on but there is a ghost roaming the hallways, watching Becky. The plot is one I haven't heard of before, and while the story is slow enough to build intensity it's not too slow. It is easy to read, and the characters were easy to follow and get to know. The story was great, the story line interesting and definitely kept me hooked. The sex scenes were very hot and intense. I enjoyed this book the whole way through.

Rebecca “Becky” Lawrence is an attractive young assistant US district attorney, a lofty position in the legal world. Becky is single and lives the life of any overworked legal eagle. Her days are filled with trials, depositions, take-out, and the easy thrill of victory and the harsh agony of defeat. Her nights, however, soon become an erotic respite when she meets the handsome, but married, Zach Woods. Written by H.E. Kline, a former court reporter in the very courtrooms where this drama takes place, Through Becky’s Eyes shows us the often Machiavellian maneuvers behind the trials that are supposed to bring justice to victims. But it’s not always a happy ending for them. Becky struggles with the outcomes, while at the same time trying to find a life, and love, in this hectic, sometimes surreal, but always fascinating world.Kline has crafted a fine morality tale with all the human wants and foibles that beset all of us. The characters are all too human at times, and often the desire for justice is tempered by the need for expediency. The courtroom scenes are authentic and the trial dialogue is crafted from actual cases, (all the names have been changed to protect the innocent, of course). This is not your ordinary erotica with two-dimensional characters and fast and dirty sex. This is an authentic story with well developed characters we can care about set in believable, well crafted scenes. The sex is hot, too. I highly recommend it.

So much more than just an eroticaHand me a book of any genre and if I have the time I’ll read it. I thought I’d give this book a read as it looked interesting and different. The author’s writing style is unique and pulled me in. I’ve read so many books that sometimes I get bored if the writing seems familiar so I appreciated the distinctive writing style. I liked getting into so many of the character’s heads and seeing things from their perspective. Becky might seem like an ordinary hard working girl but there is way more to her than meets the eye. I quite enjoyed her inner dialogues.I gave this book 5 stars as it kept me interested throughout, turned me on and shocked me more than once. Going behind the scenes of the courthouse was sometimes unsettling but was interesting to see that even those who can decide our fate are still human, prone to mistakes, lust, greed and other unsightly characteristics. After Zach is introduced things began to really heat up. Add in the love triangle with Timmy and get ready for drama. My favorite aspect of this book is how realistic it is. You can tell the author knows what they are talking about and that some of the court cases are real. I found this made the story more engaging and I look forward to reading more books by H.E. Kline. I really hope there is a sequel as the ending blew me away.

Through Becky’s Eyes, by H.E. Kline is a thought provoking tale of forbidden love. This remarkably written story starts with protagonist Becky Lawrence, who has had a difficult childhood, being raised by her grandmother. Despite this complicated beginning, Becky graduates magna cum laude at the top of her class at Harvard Law and clerked for Judge Woodbury. Impressed with her resolve, Judge Woodbury recommends Becky for a position as Assistant United States Attorney within the same courthouse a few floors away from him. Ever the protecting father figure in her life, he watches out for Becky, at a distance.Becky’s new boss has other ideas. Zach Woods is married. He has a daughter. Becky is attracted to him from the start. She tries to resist the attraction that has caught them both off guard. Her assistant and friend Amanda, tries to persuade her away from the disastrous relationship. And in comes a hero, Timmy O’Brien. He’s sweet, kind and wants to love her, but she’s not sure what to do. Her friend Amanda wants her to listen to reason, but Becky needs to just follow her heart. Don’t miss out on reading this A+ book!

I've read books that contained court cases before but this is the first time reading one that went so far behind the scenes. It all starts with Becky navigating the environment of a top law firm with her recent promotion. Things get dicey when she falls hard for Zach, a married man, and senior attorney. She also has won Tim's affections as well... who she decides to stay with was the big question in my mind. The court cases are interesting and cover all kinds of topics. There's hearings, pre-trial motions, a kind-but-stern Judge, and enough drama to fill a tv series. Not everyone gets justice.. many times there's collateral damage done when the lawyers get together and strike a deal. One victim's spirit still lingers the courthouse for never receiving the justice that was due.All in all.. a good read.

This is the second H.E. Kline book I read and it hasn't disappointed me. I am a big fan of twisted crime stories but I never thought paranormal and erotica can come together so good. Through Becky's Eyes is a well written thriller spiced up with steamy sex scenes. The main character, Becky, a law graduate, has a sweet innocence that makes her even more attractive. Her romance with her boss, Zach Woods, the powerful yet charming man, is even more intriguing as we find out that Zach has a family. As if having a relationship with your married boss isn't complicated enough, Becky senses the tormented soul of a wronged victim still searching for justice. I find it difficult to keep up with so many plans of the story but the author did a fantastic job maintain its credibility. If you are looking for an unpredictable, complex yet easy to read book, you should definitely try this one!

Not my cup of teaAfter reading the first few pages I knew this book was problematic. I am hearing impaired do I READ to hear. The plot was okay ... too much detail on the legal garb. From there it just got worse . I don't even know where to begin.Repetitive, unrealistic sexual scenes, professional experts sounding unprofessional, let's not go to the fact of sexual harassment yet the female doesn't report it or walk away due to she wants the boss just as much. So why say "no" when your really saying " yes". Unsafe sex ... unprotected sex ... of course pregnancy entered the story. Thesaurus would of been really helpful to this author ... there is other words besides " giggle" . Does a man " giggle "?

THROUGH BECKY’S EYES is an exceptional fast-paced romance. I am so impressed with H.E. Kline’s writing style for she has the unique ability to paint descriptive passages that are so real to life you question whether this is fact or fiction. I love that fact she incorporated a paranormal element into the overall plot of the story. Zach and Becky's chemistry is set at an all-time high. Together they singe the pages as they explore their feelings for each other. I am convinced the literary world rejoiced the day that H.E. Kline first published her debut novel.

This book has it all--mystery, thrills, suspense, romance, and plenty of spicy sex! As an attorney, I love that the story centers around the federal court system and is written by someone who is intimately familiar with the internal workings of the system. It's not often that I have an opportunity to read fiction written from such a perspective! Very well-written, complex plot and well-developed, likeable characters. Great book and highly recommended!

I have never reviewed a book before but I am a reader that reads 2-3 books a week. This book deserves half a star , if that. I only read 25% of the book and couldn't stomach the rest. The author used the word "giggle" so many times that I wanted to throw the book against the wall. Way too much sex, not enough law for me. I did not connect to any of the characters and that's what reading is about for me.

Becky will take you on quite the emotional roller coaster in this courtroom novel! Lots of very interesting emotional and psychological themes are explored and the author clearly has a strong grasp on the ins and outs of the legal system. I really enjoyed reading the court cases that seem to always mirror Becky's own life. Very deep, and very heated!

Amazing! This book was a wild ride that I did’nt want to end. It had so many elements I love, mystery, suspense, and erotic sex. I loved that this was a realistic fiction and the author really took me into the world of the U.S. Attorney’s office. I immediately connected with Becky and the chemistry between her and Zach is realistic and I couldn't put this one down.

Through Becky's Eyes is a riveting legal drama about drama and secrets that can be found in the State Attorney's office. Becky begins working as an Assistant United States Attorney and finds herself in a whirlwind of romance, suspense, and drama. Legal cases were accurately depicted and I was drawn in by the mix of drama and romance. H.E. Kline is a must read!
