Highlander: Love and Hate Reviews
As good as Adrian Paul is, Colin Harvey's added yet another secret society. That is annoying. However, it's not quite as annoying as the choice to have the female in the story be a horribly abused woman, who is going to suffer and suffer until, maybe, the secret society figures out a cure for the disease she carries. A disease that burns infected Immortals to a crisp, permanently destroying them with no Quickening. A disease that will jump to any Immortal who gets her Quickening, and jump to mortals if she's beheaded without another of her kind in proximity. Thus the proper solution is an explosive collar, dropping her down a really deep hole and then fire-bombing it as soon as her head's blown off. I guess I don't like how the story ends without resolution. Aside from not liking women being abused.
